Special “Thank You!” message from our Directors

Hello All,

We would like to express our sentiments and emotional idealism in saying what a wonderful experience we all had in sponsoring the first Greater Greenwood Community Band Festival. All of the participating bands, their guest, audience and other past and present band directors in the State expressed their thoughts on how well the Festival was organize and the quality of vender food. The golf cart people offering transportation to and from the parking areas stated that all day long the people were very complementary on the service, organization, food, and the quality of the bands performing. Best of all, we want to complement you for the outstanding job in your performance on stage. The excitement, professionalism, skill and musical talent was presented with exceptionally high remarks from the audience. We could not be more pleased with your enthusiasm and hard work in presenting and sponsoring the Festival to the Community of Greenwood and to the State of Indiana. The fast action and response in set-up and tear-down with all the Festival equipment in need was remarkable. It took very little time to organize, set-up and put away the mass band production. We really didn’t know what was going to happen with the set-up for the mass band until all the performing people showed up with horn in hand. Your fast action, understanding and participation with the mass band production was excellent. We as a Community Band have raised ourselves up on the totem pole by two notches to be recognized as one of the top Community Bands in the State of Indiana. We are proud of the band and look forward to more of the same with good music, musical awareness, enjoyment and working together to strive for a greater performance and organizational Community Band.

Best to you all,

Tom & Ora
