Description
Greater Greenwood Community Band will host a free Children’s Concert at the Surina Park Amphitheater in Greenwood, IN on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Children and the young at heart will enjoy the musical line-up of this concert. With music from Jurassic Park, Spiderman, With classics from Disney fan favorites to classic cartoon melodies this will be a concert that will appeal to all ages.
The concert begins at 6:00 pm with a special hands-on demonstration of the instruments shortly after 5:00.
Children of all ages are encouraged to experience all of the instruments provided in hopes of inspiring a new generation of musicians. Band members will be eager to answer any questions and nurture young talent. This is a free concert open to the public. Free balloon animals and temporary tattoos will be provided.
This event is also a salute to music educators. Invite your favorite band directors and music educators to attend and be recognized.
Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, and curiosity for a fun-filled evening with the Greater Greenwood Community Band.
