Earthlings of Greenwood and beyond, brace yourselves for an intergalactic rendezvous! The Greater Greenwood Community Band (GGCB) is staging a musical invasion with “A Very Alien Halloween”, an enthralling journey focusing on aliens and their escapades on Earth.
Join us on Sunday, October 22, at 6pm at the Perry Meridian High School Auditorium. With the Greenwood High School auditorium closed for renovations, this year’s cosmic Halloween Concert has been teleported to Perry Meridian. Ditch the traditional ghosts and goblins and immerse yourself in the realm of UFOs, alien encounters, and celestial mysteries.
Randy Greenwell, the maestro behind GGCB’s baton, excitedly mentioned, “We’re aiming for the stars – not just in performance quality, but in theme. Imagine tales of playful aliens frolicking in Greenwood or mysteries from galaxies far, far away unfolding on our concert stage.”
For those eager to amplify the fun, arriving in their best alien or Halloween attire is encouraged. Who knows? An otherworldly award might beam down on the most enchanting costume of the evening!
As the clock ticks toward the event, remember: No tickets. No reservations. Just an open heart and curious mind. Early arrivals might get the best views of the cosmic spectacle. After all, in space and at concerts, prime spots are hot commodities!
