Greater Greenwood Community Band Presents “A Musical Potpourri” – Free Concert on August 3 at Greenwood Amphitheater
GREENWOOD, IN – The Greater Greenwood Community Band invites the public to its next free outdoor concert, A Musical Potpourri, on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Greenwood Amphitheater. This summer performance features a vibrant blend of musical styles, promising something for everyone.
Led by Director Randy Greenwell, the concert will showcase an eclectic selection of pieces ranging from classic show tunes and film scores to jazz, pop, and dramatic wind band works. Highlights of the evening include selections from Wicked, The Incredibles, an Elton John medley, and the timeless beauty of Moon River.

“Our August concert is a true potpourri of styles,” says Director Greenwell. “From cinematic favorites to bold brass showcases and Latin rhythms, we’ve packed this concert with variety and energy.”
Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The concert will be held at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Surina Park, just east of the Greenwood Public Library / North of Craig Park.
This performance is part of the band’s mission to bring live music to the community while supporting local musicians of all ages.
