Greater Greenwood Community Band and Greenwood Community Jazz Ensemble will present “Summer Hot Horns” on Sunday, May 31 at 7:00 PM at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Surina Park. Admission is free and no tickets are required.

The concert features guest vocalist Leta Gentry performing alongside the ensembles under the direction of Randy Greenwell.

The evening’s program includes music made famous by Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Miami Sound Machine, Sly and the Family Stone, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Blood Sweat and Tears, and Jersey Boys.

Selections include arrangements of “September,” “Fantasy,” “Shining Star,” “Peg,” “Black Cow,” “Reeling in the Years,” “Reach Out (I’ll Be There),” “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” and more.

Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating at the outdoor performance.
