This is the first year after the formation of the band. Although the amphitheater was not yet built, it makes a nice cover photo.

In a month from the organizational meeting, the band has already grown from about 30 members to 47. It is apparent very early that the Greater Greenwood Community needed and wanted a community band to add to the many arts found in the area.

Duane O'Neal, founder of the GGCB, made use of the local newspaper, the Daily Journal (published in Franklin, IN) to inform potential members of his intent to form the band and invite anyone who was interested in attending an organizational meeting. The meeting took place on May 25, 1993.
