Concert Band Performance Terre Haute Indiana

Greater Greenwood Community Band is scheduled to play at the Terre Haute Concert Band Festival at 5:00 on Saturday, July 22, 2017. This road trip gives us an enjoyable performance to look forward to every year. The Terre Haute Community Band always has the event well sponsored, well organized, and keeps the bands well fed to deliver excellent music.

This is usually an all-afternoon and all-evening event. Our band usually plays near the end, with Terre Haute playing during the last hour.

  • Be there ready to tune up and play on time. Actual warm-up and performance time will be posted on this page once determined.
  • We will meet in the rehearsal area at the top of the hill near the parking area.
  • There will be a secure place for cases, etc.
  • Dress is our green GGCB polo shirt and khaki shorts or pants. Please tuck your shirt in and do not wear flip flops.  Because of the heat Saturday you may wear tennis shoes or sandals.
  • We should not need stands on stage (they are provided), but if you would like your own to use during warm up, please bring it.
  • Bottled water will be available, but it would be a good idea to bring your own, just in case.
  • Bring sunscreen and bug spray.
  • If you have a large instrument or need help with transportation, please flag down a volunteer and they will have golf carts available.
  • Portable toilets are near the warm up area, and regular restrooms are closer to the amphitheater.
  • Each band member will receive a  voucher for the food vendors that will be at the festival.
The GGCB concert playlist for our Terre Haute performance can be posted here when available.
